Applications:
Rigid scrapers are used for large area removal and harder materials such as vinyl flooring,bonded carpeting and tile adhesives. Scraping off old coats of paint/varnish or adhesives. The step-down flush-cut profile design allows the operator to lay the blade flat on the working surface for consistent controlled scraping. The blade is made from stainless steel for durability and can be resharpened. When removing strong, tacky adhesives, grease the scraper blade (with petroleum jelly or silicone grease) to reduce gumming up. Carpet and vinyl flooring will remove easier if it is scored prior to removal so the scraper blade can move underneath the flooring material.
